Ingredients
Barware Cocktail Glasses: 5 oz Martini
Methodology: shake & fine strain
37.5ml cognac vs
12.5ml creme de cacao
25ml double cream
Grated nutmeg, to garnish

Mixology
Add cognac, cacao and cream to a barware mixing glass and cap with a Boston cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds and use cocktail strainer to pour the drink into a chilled martini glass. Topped with Grated nutmeg

General Information about the Brandy Alexander
Well known at the time of USA Prohibition. Seems that the original recipe was introduced with bathtub gin (named Alexander) and the cream liqueur was to mask the strong and bad flavour of the home made alcohol.

Also you can replace brandy or cognac with gin for the original Alexander cocktail.
